General Conference

So, this general conference was great but it is one of those things where I'm defiantly going to have to read it in the Ensign later. The Saturday morning session Jacob, Jonas, and I headed up to temple square to listen to conference on the loud speaker with my aunt Marlene and her seven kids. So, between trying to keep my own baby happy and helping the little kids that can't read yet try to play General Conference Bingo, it was not the ultimate spiritual learning experience. After that we ate street tacos and walked around the visitors center. It was so cool to see how the church has really covered the whole earth, just like the Prophets have said. We walked around temple square for a little while and saw all the wonderful fountains and statues and the Temple. We then listened to the afternoon session on the radio on the way home. The Sunday sessions were seen on the couch at home in our PJs. So the whole weekend was awesome.

What I learned this General Conference.
There is good golfing in Star Valley.
The Provo, UT temple is more busy than anyone realized.
The Apostles know more about Angry Birds than I do.
The Lord does care about a five dollar bill if you do.
The Lord has blessed us with a Prophet and Apostles to lead us, and we better listen to them.
